The 2019 Michigan Cannabis Cup took place on June 8th and 9th.
BELOW IS INFO IN THE RUN UP TO THE CUP:
The 2019 edition of the High Times "MICHIGAN CANNABIS CUP", which has been running for a few years now (unimpeded too if memory serves), was announced the same week as the Central Valley Cannabis Cup. The announcement for both Cups came on the Cannabis Cup website the week of February 27, 2019.
The announcement makes four events now on the Cannabis Cup calendar thus far for 2019.
But how many of those will actually take place?
High Times has a habit of majorly changing events after initial announcement, even to the point of outright canceling the event!
Michigan has been a stable spot though - one of only a few for High Times. Ironically it has been more difficult to host cannabis events since recreational cannabis became legal! Go figure.
Therefore odds look pretty good right now that this thing thunders through (UPDATE: The event did indeed take place).
Once again this event is set to take place at the reliable venue of the Auto City Speedway in Clio Michigan.
This marks the first Cannabis Cup in Michigan since the state legalized recreational cannabis.

The second Michigan High Times Cannabis Cup of 2017 took place on September 9th and 10th.
Once again the event was held at the Auto City Speedway in Clio, Michigan, and was open to medical patients only.
Lots of musical guests were scheduled to perform, including Wyclef Jean, Lil' Kim, Method Man and Redman. Also former NBA player Cliff Robinson will be on hand to discuss cannabis.
High Times returned to Michigan in 2017 to host a Cannabis Cup on June 24th and 25th.
It has been a popular spot for the High Times event.
2016 was a good year for Michigan as High Times hosted two Cannabis Cups in the state.
The first Michigan Cannabis Cup of 2016 took place on June 11-12 in the city of Clio.
It was billed as "High Times' First Ever All-Medical Event" and was open only to medical patients with the entire festival zoned to medicate.
The event was the third annual Cannabis Cup in Michigan, all hosted at the Auto City Speedway.
High Times returned to Michigan for a second Cup in 2016 which they billed as the "first ever High Times Medical Cannabis Country Fair Cup."
Slated were midway games and prizes, over 300 booths and a "heady" village of craft vendors.
The event was similarly open only to medical patients with the entire festival zoned to medicate, but doctors were available on site.
