The largest Gothic church in the world is set up in Seville and has a majestic tower whose history tells us that it was once the minaret of a respected grand mosque. The Alcazar: A UNESCO World Heritage Site that served as the medieval fortress of Moorish rulers. The palace was built during the 10th century and was Al-Mutamid the famed Moorish king and poet took over the Palace's management in the 11th century.

In the 14th century, Moorish architects designed the Mudejar-style buildings for the cruel King Pedro. Today, visitors to the palace enter through Puerta Principal side which opens up to the Patio de las Doncellas.

The majestic courtyard was built within three years from 1369 to 1379 and is a perfect piece showcasing Islamic architecture. The garden features 52 marble columns that hold an open arabesque.

Plaza de Espana: The Plaza was built for the 1929 Seville's Ibero-American Expo World's Fair it offers the best picturesque views in Seville. It's a 540,000 square foot plaza that has a mosaic patio with four-foot bridges, a canal, and a fountain.

La Macarena: La Macarena is a little baroque church that is home to one of the Virgin Mary statues carried around the city during Easter processions. La Macarena basilica is also a museum dedicated to Virgin Mary, and you can visit to witness all relics associated with the virgin.
