The 2019 High Times "BAY AREA CANNABIS CUP" is set to take place in California, which is a state located in the United States of America.
This Cup listing debuted on the Cannabis Cup website during the week of March 6, 2019.
The addition of the BAY AREA CANNABIS CUP to the High Times repertoire brings to total 5 events currently announced for the 2019 calendar year.
Whether these events take place or not is another matter, since High Times has had to cancel quite a number of their events in the past.
Why? Mainly due to the inability to secure necessary permit documentation from local authorities in the hosting community.
Even with more lax cannabis laws around the country becoming commonplace, cannabis consumption events are harder than ever to get approval to stage.
For now, the BAY AREA CANNABIS CUP is scheduled to go down at the Cow Palace in Daly City California, which is just south of San Francisco. Tickets "Coming Soon" and list of performers "To Be Announced" says the High Times website.
Odds of this event actually taking place? Probably pretty good because High Times has gotten away with holding events here in the past.
Odds of this event changing in some fashion from initial descriptions? Also probably pretty good. Because if it isn't a name change, then it seems to always be something else with High Times events that change.
