Public Transport to Berlin Tegel Airport

At Berlin's Hauptbahnhof, it's very easy to get to Berlin's Tegel airport using public transportation, which is the airport in western Berlin (eastern Berlin has Schoenefeld airport).
Simply exit the doors of the main entrance to Berlin Hauptbahnhof and cross the street to the bus stop.
Catch bus TXL, which runs every few minutes during the morning and early afternoon.
A ticket can be purchased from the driver for EUR 2.70. The trip to the airport takes about 20 minutes.
