Cannabis Conference's Compelling Lineup

January 26, 2017

The 3rd edition of the International Cannabis Business Conference in San Francisco to take place on February 17, 2017, is slated to feature a number of interesting speakers.

One of them is the state of California's marijuana czar, Lori Ajax.

Ajax was once the chief deputy director of the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Many of those in the newly emerging legal cannabis industry seem to be initially satisfied with Ajax as the choice for the state's chief cannabis regulator.

Another featured speaker scheduled at the ICBC event is rock and roll frontman Henry Rollins.

Rollins was featured in the musical groups Black Flag and Rollins Band.

These days Rollins does TV, film and radio work, as well as writing and spoken word performance. He is a man of the world, having put in much time touring diverse parts of the globe.

A third speaker of note is four-time NBA champion John Salley.

Salley was a member of the Michael Jordan era Chicago Bulls, along with one of the most colorful players to ever play the game - the legendary Dennis Rodman.

Salley's former teammate since retiring from the NBA has incredibly become a focal point in international geopolitics, when Rodman was befriended by North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un, making several high profile visits to the reclusive communist nation.

Besides Chicago, Rodman and Salley also played together with the Detroit Pistons during their so-called 'Bad Boys' years.

The pair won NBA championships together with both the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons.
